Axiom Space is a human space exploration company developing commercial space infrastructure and operating missions to the International Space Station. The company's flagship project is Axiom Station, designed to be the world's first commercial space station and the successor to the ISS. It is also engineering the AxEMU spacesuit, a next-generation design intended for use in low-Earth orbit, on the Moon as part of NASA's Artemis program, and beyond.
The company's technical work spans a range of aerospace domains: human spaceflight, space station design, spacesuit engineering, microgravity research, in-space manufacturing, and orbital data centers. Axiom completed the first all-private mission to the ISS in 2022 and reports involvement with every ISS mission since the program's inception.
Axiom's leadership team has backgrounds in space operations, engineering, and astronaut training. The company views microgravity as a frontier for innovation and aims to make low-Earth orbit more accessible for research and commercial activity.
