General Aviation is a startup developing affordable remote air traffic control (ATC) towers for small airports. The company was founded in 2026 and is based in San Francisco, with a focus on the National Airspace System in the United States. It is part of the Y Combinator S26 batch.

The company's core product addresses a significant gap in American aviation infrastructure: approximately 90% of airports in the National Airspace System currently have no control tower at all. General Aviation's remote towers are designed to be deployed at a fraction of the cost of traditional towers, bringing ATC capabilities to these smaller, currently untowered facilities.

Technical work at the company spans remote air traffic control systems, aviation software, and internet-connected aircraft systems. The founding team has prior experience in aviation software, with the founder having started two previous companies in the sector: Rotabull and Seer Aerospace.
